Black Dog : Hardy and Kelson (G. Kelson = Kelson's Father).
Tag : Silver twist and canary coloured silk.
Tail : A topping and Ibis.
Butt : Black herl.
Body : Black silk.
Ribs : Yellow silk, Silver tinsel (oval) on each side of yellow silk.
Hackle : Black Heron; From third turn.
Wings : Two red-orange hackles (back to back) veiled with two Jungle Unbarred summer duck, light Bustard, Amherst
Pheasant and Swan dyed scarlett and yellow. and two toppings.
Black Dog : A Mackintosh 1806. (he states " it is called the Black dog in Scotland).
Body : Lead coloured hog's soft wool from under the ear.
Ribs : Small gold twist.
Hackle : A large black cok's hackle.
Wings : A blueish feathers of a heron's wing, intermixed with the spottish reddish ones of a turkey's tail.
Head : A little dark green mohair, and dark green silk.
Black Dog : Hale. (Mr. malloch).
Tag : Silver twist and yellow floss.Tail : A topping and a few fibers of scarlet.Butt : Black ostrich herl.Body : Black floss silk, ribbed with gold and silver oval tinsel; orange floss between the two tinsels.Hackle : Black heron at the shoulder.Wings : Mixed- bronze peacock herl, silver grey turkey, bustard, pintail, teal, summer duck, mallard, and swandeyed red, yellow, and blue; topping over.Cheeks : Jungle Cock.Horns : Blue macaw.Head : Black.
